Crossfit Kingsboro will host the 2nd annual Brooklyn Fit Fest on October 13th, 2018. Brooklyn Fit Fest strives to provide the highest quality of fitness through competition, but more importantly we are merging other like minded individuals and bridging communities together through fitness.
Welcoming NYC’s most enthused Crossfitters, Brooklyn Fit Fest 2018 will consist of a 3 WOD competition. Each team will consist of two members, with an RX and scaled component to welcome various level competitors.
CrossFit Kingsboro makes a strong commitment to giving back to the community. Brooklyn Fit Fest will double as a beast cancer awareness event. Each category (RX and Scaled) 1st Place winner will receive a cash prize, as well as a check to be given to a Breast Cancer Awareness organization of their choosing.

It's that time of year again, summer, sand, and tests of fitness. Flex on the Beach is returning to Long Beach NY for 2018.
Coed Teams of 4 in Rx and Scaled and Burn Divisions.
Each event uses a system of peer judging and rotating WOD stations to keep athletes active and involved throughout the day.

Kati Breazeal competed in gymnastics for 13 years, has 5 Junior Olympic Championship appearances, a Junior Olympic Uneven Bars Title, and earned a full scholarship to compete for the University of Georgia.
During the seminar she will be educating you on how to perform CrossFit and body weight skills, from an artistic gymnastics approach. You'll go over elite gymnastics conditioning exercises and foundational gymnastics skills, in addition to learning how to execute Functional Gymnastics skills in the most efficient ways possible.

This workshop will begin with a light yoga flow to warm up the body and will cover the fundamentals and basics behind inversions and arm balancing poses. It is designed to build strength, alignment, focus and full-body awareness in order to perform those poses and transitions we think are impossible. Learn how to safely and effectively prepare yourself for those flying poses. Because we're starting from the beginning, all levels are welcomed and encouraged to attend and open their minds to the extraordinary world of levitation.
